Winter in Lapland offers activities for all tastes: snowmobile tours, three-peak excursion or ice-fishing trip, and many more.

Regular Snowmobile safari

This is the best way to see the Arctic Tundra in a private trip, either in the daytime or in the evening.

On a daytime trip you have the possibility to see the beautiful wilderness and maybe some wild reindeers.

On an evening trip we take the Northern Lights tour, take some beautiful photos and enjoy hot chocolate. You should bring your own SLR-camera and tripod (we can help with the photography) but if necessary we can take photos too.

Exclusive Snowmobile safari

We will take you to deeper in to the magical Kaldoaivi Wilderness area. This is very private and exclusive trip, where you will experience the real wilderness as its purest. On a safari we will also stop by a wilderness cottage where everybody can warm up and enjoy the hot chocolate, coffee and cookies. This trip will truly be unforgettable!

There’s possibility to do ice fishing also on this trip for extra 50€ charge. We will bring all the needed fishing gear.

Three fells guided tour

A guided ski or snowshoe trip to the nearby terrain of Guovžavárri, where cross-country skiing or snowshoeing becomes familiar in varying snow conditions, partly taking advantage of the snowmobile track. On the hike we ascend to 220 meters above sea level and descend to the shelters of the three peaks to enjoy a hot drink and a little snack. During the trip we will get to know the winter wilderness and winter hiking.

Icefishing trip to wilderness lake

We ski with a guide to a nearby wilderness lake to learn the secrets of winter fishing. With good luck, arctic char or trout rise from the lake. On the lake we heat the sausage by the campfire and enjoy a hot drink. It is also possible to bring your own campfire food like marshmallows. Icefishing is a relaxing way to enjoy the unique winter wilderness.

Ice fishing trip

​​We take you to a nearby lake up in the fell to do ice-fishing. To get to the lake you can take skis or snowshoes and trek to the lake across the snowy fell or ride on a snowmobile sledge – after your wishes.

Night northern lights tour

As the evening darkens, we head to the wilderness, away from the light pollution to the quiet fell nature to look for the northern lights in the sky at night. If luck is on the way, as the sky clears, there is an opportunity to see the colors of the northern sky.

Winter hike quidance

Over the course of two hours, our guide will showcase a variety of winter hiking skills that will be useful during the winter. During the tour, it is possible to try two different skis and snowshoes. We go through how to stay warm in winter conditions and dress according to the weather. We will get to know the first aid kit suitable for winter hiking and learn how to make fires and boil water from the snow.

Husky safari

There is a Husky farm close to Norway where you can enjoy the Nordic nature on a sledge pulled by huskies. We will provide training on how to ride a sledge, and afterwards the guide will give you the steer. You can feel how eagerly the strong dogs are pulling the sledge on the snow across the unique nature and wilderness. The Husky owner will tell us about the life on a Husky farm and after the ride there are hot drinks and snacks served by a fireplace.

Please note that the sledge dog safaris can also be organized outside the snowy season. In case there is no snow the dogs are using a cart instead of a sledge.
