Snowmobile Safari in Finnish Lapland

Exclusive Snowmobile safari

We will take you to deeper in to the magical Kaldoaivi Wilderness area. Kaldoaivi is the Europe’s largest wildernessarea, explore Nuorgam’s and Utsjoki’s treeless tundras by a snowmobile. This is very private and exclusive trip, where you will experience the real wilderness as its purest. On a safari we will also stop by a wilderness cottage where everybody can warm up. This trip will truly be unforgettable!

There’s possibility to do ice fishing also on this trip for extra 50 € charge. We will bring all the needed fishing gear.

Skiing or snowshoeing tour

Explore the snowy wilderness around Nuorgam in northern Finnish Lapland on a guided cross-country skiing or snowshoeing adventure. This is a great way to experience the arctic landscape at a relaxed pace and discover how to move through the snow-covered wilderness in different winter conditions.

Depending on the snow conditions, we travel partly along prepared ski tracks and partly through untouched snowy terrain. Along the way, we pass through a beautiful birch forest shaped by the harsh arctic climate before reaching the open fell landscape.

Ice fishing trip

Northern lights evening at the hut

If the weather is clear and the Aurora is active, you may have the chance to see the northern lights in Nuorgam. The remote location and dark surroundings provide an ideal setting for enjoying the night sky.

The northern lights are a natural phenomenon, so sightings cannot be guaranteed, but spending an evening in the wilderness under the arctic sky is an experience in itself.

An authentic Lapland winter experience

This is more than a northern lights tour. It is an opportunity to slow down, enjoy the silence of the arctic wilderness and experience authentic Finnish Lapland with a local guide.

Husky safari

There is a Husky farm close to Norway where you can enjoy the Nordic nature on a sledge pulled by huskies. We will provide training on how to ride a sledge, and afterwards the guide will give you the steer. You can feel how eagerly the strong dogs are pulling the sledge on the snow across the unique nature and wilderness. The Husky owner will tell us about the life on a Husky farm and after the ride there are hot drinks and snacks served by a fireplace.

Please note that the sledge dog safaris can also be organized outside the snowy season. In case there is no snow the dogs are using a cart instead of a sledge.

The husky farm is at Norway and you need to drive there by yourself. Please book a tour a week before.

Reindeer farm visit

A visit to a local reindeer farm, where you can hear about the history or the Sámi people, to which reindeer have belonged for centuries. On the visit you get to feed the reindeers with lichen. Later you get to enjoy some reindeer snacks and hot drinks by the campfire.
